How dual SIM works
eSIM-capable phones run two lines at once: your usual card and the eSIM. In settings you choose which line carries mobile data — your Décall eSIM — and which stays your main line for calls and texts.
Verification codes keep arriving
This is the number one reason to keep your line. Texts from your bank, your apps and your employer arrive on your usual number, which stays active. A local SIM forces you to remove your card and cuts those messages off.
Watch calls and texts, not data
Your usual line stays reachable, but receiving a call abroad may be billed by your operator depending on the country and your plan. The useful habit: turn mobile data off on your main line and let only the eSIM carry the internet.
